Nursery Rhymes for Darker Times: Daniel One-Eye
So I’ve decided to try and make a daily project out of these Nursery Rhymes for Darker Times. Today’s is a little fan poem about Daniel from Mur Lafferty’s Heaven series. This one in particular relates to her latest book in the series: Wasteland. While not all of these nursery rhymes will have to do with books I’ve read, the first two just came about that way because those two books have been in my head.
Daniel One-Eye
Is a pretty good guy
Don’t blind your sons for him
Kate will get mad
That will be bad
With consequences ever so grim.

*grin* Bravo! Fitting, too; when you think about it, don’t most nursery rhymes and faery tales have a dark history behind them?
