Yeah, freelancing. I really need to get myself in gear and really go for the gusto. Our situation right now is that we can use all the extra money we can get, and that just isn’t happening with our combined salaries.
Realistically I can work between 2 – 3 hours every night, with a few more hours tossed in on the weekends. I’ll take any XHTML/CSS/PHP work I can get. WordPress would be a plus. I’ve pretty good at slicing up PSDs, and I’d even do some simple Rails projects on the cheap to build up my experience. Problem is, I can’t seem to find any good freelance work. I don’t really have a network of contacts, and all these freelance job sites are filled with teens who are bidding as low as $5 – $10 a hour to do work.
If anyone out there has any leads, I’d sure be grateful.
